As per notes from the EGM, The committee will be working on five key areas that will give the membership even more value for their money.
Technical Expertise: Promoting presentations from the basics of fixing punctures to gears adjustment and general maintenance and servicing of your bicycles.
Improved Safety: By providing resources such as safety training, meetings, and the distribution of road safety publications.
Social Media: By improving the Club Website and keeping it up to date with all club activities, encouraging members to contribute with write ups and photos. Providing the membership with up to date information by email and watts app.
Organised rides: Promote and encourage members to join our regular ride groups to help stay motivated, improve riding skills, building camaraderie and making new friends. Providing organised rides to cover all ride abilities from social to structured training rides.
Access to events. By continuing to provide and promote access to local, national and events held abroad, such as charity rides, sportive’s and races. Some of the popular events that club members get access to are The Pilgrims Charity Ride, Le Carre de Vallee and The Maratona. These and many more events are a great way to challenge yourself, visit new places and meet other cyclists. You will be provided with the resources and support to participate in these events with confidence.
