Rye Wheelers Thursday social.
It was the inaugural club Thursday social starting at Appledore bridge at 6.30 this evening. Under grey skies 5 set out at a relaxed pace for a loop around the back of Woodchurch and then back to the Black Lion. Unfortunately there was a bit of light rain, and the ride was slightly shortened but not enough to dampen spirits. Well certainly not for those who had the foresight to ride with mudguards. A warm fire and a couple of pints were a welcome sight at the pub on our return to Appledore. An excellent start to the new Thursday evening social.
