Thursday Social Club Ride

The rain in the day cleared for another Thursday social ride and this week a couple of new riders joined us. As riders congregated at the bridge the Chairman was busy fixing a puncture, as seen in photo below he was assisted by many of the group. 9 set of for a route around the back of Woodchurch but there was a little confusion in the ranks. Thus ending with part of the group passing the rest of the group coming towards them. A shout of see you at the pub and both parties continued on their way. At there arrival back in Appledore it was clear that one group had been on quite an adventure having to negotiate gravel, potholes and large quantities of cow poo! Sadly the latter was impossible to avoid and there was a slight country odour in the pub. All forgotten very quickly as the beers were drunk and a toast to the birthday boy David Richardson.
