Thursday club social

This week saw the best turnout of riders so far. It was great to have ex Chair Phil and Ed along to enjoy a pleasant evening riding through the back lanes of Kent. We rode Amber’s loop of 2 weeks ago and at a nice easy pace so there was plenty of chatter along the way. There was a bit of a skirmish at the sprint for the sign with Steve’s left foot glancing Phil Shanks wheel and Simon taking the win. Then into the pub for some chat, tall tales and a game of places in Kent, true or false.
David Richardson joined us for a swift pint also and good to see him looking so well and hoping to be back cycling soon. As ever an enjoyable evening again and hope to see more Wheelers join us as the summer continues.
