Having stayed over an extra night in the wonderful company of Jeane-Claude Cremers family; Paul Simpson, Ralph Sperring, David Greenwood and Barry Goodsell took in a trip to see The Menin Gate in Ypres.

David and Barry took to their bikes to add a few more miles to their weekends total whilst Paul and Ralph content with the previous days ride went ahead with the car and baggage.

After a walk around the monument taking in the human sadness it signifies they retired to the Ypra Inn in the Gates shadow to have a few beers and talk over the weekends events before heading back to Blighty and the now inevitable delays to board the Shuttle.
