Once again Rye Wheelers are being represented at what is regarded the hardest mountain bike race in the world, the Sellaronda Hero in the Italian Dolomites.
The race covers 4700 gruelling vertical metres of climbing and downhill descents around the passes of the Sella Group.
This years event will be even more exciting than usual as it doubles as the UCI MTB Marathon World Championship race. The strongest MTB Marathon riders in the world will be competing against our two Romney Marsh trained riders for the right to call themselves the best.
We’re not sure if this is first time Rye Wheelers have ridden in a UCI World Championship event but we’re hoping our riders do the club proud by finishing!
